LaDawna Whiteside was born in Oklahoma but has spent most
of her life in Arkansas. She studied art at the University of
Arkansas at Little Rock where she graduated magna cum laude
with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. Currently she is working
on a Masters of Fine Arts at the Art Institute of Boston.
